What is GateDrop?
GateDrop is a free SuperMotocross fantasy platform. Play quick weekly Pick'Em or draft a season-long fantasy team and battle friends head-to-head — across Supercross, Motocross and the SMX Playoffs, in both the 250 and 450 classes.
Is it free to play?
Yes, GateDrop is free to play. You must be 18+ to be eligible for prizes; anyone can play for fun and bragging rights.
How does weekly Pick'Em work?
Each round you predict the top 5 finishers in the 250 and 450 classes, plus a wildcard, and a Fastest Qualifier when you play both classes. Picks lock at race time. See full scoring.
How is Fantasy Draft different from Pick'Em?
Fantasy Draft is season-long. You join a league, run a live snake draft of riders (combined 250 + 450), and face a different opponent head-to-head each round, with waivers, free agents and trades. Explore Fantasy.
Can I play fantasy solo or with a small group?
Yes — when you create a league you can add CPU (AI) teams that auto-draft and play you head-to-head. Great for solo play or filling out a small group.
When do my picks and lineups lock?
Pick'Em picks lock at the race start time; the Fastest Qualifier locks at the qualifying time. In Fantasy, your lineup for a round locks when that round starts, so later trades and adds only affect future rounds.
How does the wildcard work?
The wildcard is all-or-nothing: the rider must finish in the exact position set for that round (e.g. exactly 6th). Hit it and you bank the full bonus; miss it and it scores zero.
How do playoffs work in Fantasy?
The top teams qualify for the SMX Playoffs. League owners can optionally enable a re-draft, where playoff teams draft fresh from the SMX Playoff field for the title run.
Will there be a mobile app?
GateDrop is mobile-first and installable to your home screen as a web app today. Native iOS/Android apps are planned.
